The 2026 survey found survivors navigating persistent fears of recurrence and late effects, gaps in long-term and adult care, financial and access barriers, and an ongoing need for better information and support. The message is clear: progress against childhood cancer must be measured not only by how many children survive but by how well survivors are able to live and thrive for decades to come.
